Start by tracking your time for a few days. Write down what you’re doing every hour or so. You might notice that certain things distract you, like your phone or TV. Write down what distracts you.

Then, come up with solutions to help you stay focused. Maybe you can turn off your phone or put it in another room while you’re working. Or, you can make a rule for yourself to only check your messages or social media at certain times of the day.

If you’re doing this activity with a group, share your distractions and ideas with each other. You might come up with new solutions you hadn’t thought of before! With practice, you can learn how to avoid distractions and manage your time better.
